A Saskatoon woman is in custody facing several charges after police were called to a disturbance in the 2200 block of 22nd St .West.
Just after 7:30 PM an altercation took place at the drive-through of a restaurant on 22nd St. Two males approached a vehicle that was stopped in the drive-through. There were some words exchanged between a passenger in the car and the two males standing outside the car resulting in the 19 year old male passenger being stabbed in the face with some sort of edged weapon.
The female driver of the vehicle drove off, however she circled around the area and then attempted to run down the first two males, striking one of them with the vehicle. Police arrived just as the driver of the vehicle was taking another run at the two. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired driving, however she refused to take a breath test. The victim of the stabbing refused to cooperate with police. The 21 year old male that was hit by the car was checked over by MD Ambulance personnel at the scene but did not require further medical aid.
There was no information forthcoming on what caused the initial altercation.
The 34 year old driver has been charged with impaired driving, refusing a breath test, and two counts of assault with a weapon. She will appear in court Thursday.
