The Saskatoon Police Service responded to 1065 calls for service this weekend. A large number of the calls were pertaining to stolen vehicles and break and enters.
In one case, officers responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of 25th Street West, Friday evening. Three people were arrested and a sawed-off shotgun was seized.
Police were called the 3000 block of Fairlight Drive Saturday where a person was attempting to sell the complainant a stolen vehicle. Two people were charged with Possession of Stolen Property over $5000.
Also over the weekend, three vehicles were stolen on Saskatoon’s east side. In each case, keys were left inside the vehicle or nearby.
