An investigation by the Guns and Gangs Unit has resulted in 38 charges being laid against 5 people after a search warrant was executed in 1400 block of Main Street.
On June 22, 2017 at approximately 5:00 a.m. a search warrant was executed by members of the Guns and Gangs Unit with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit.
They located and seized a 12 gauge shotgun, a pellet rifle, 3 different types of ammunition, 2 stolen bikes and 0.39 grams of methamphetamine.
A 50 year of male, 47 year old male, 33 year old female and 15 year old male are all facing charges that include Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Possessing a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Storing Ammunition in a Careless Manner x 3, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Stolen Property.
A 19 year old female has also been charged with Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Methamphetamine and Breaching a Court Order.
They will all be making their next court appearance at Provincial Court on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
