Saskatoon Police are investigating an armed robbery which took place in the 400 block of 33rd Street West shortly after 8:30 pm on January 20, 2017.
Police were called to a business in the area where a lone male had entered with a metal bar type weapon and his face covered. He broke into the till and stole an undisclosed amount of money. Upon leaving the business he attempted to rob a customer. The male was unsuccessful in his robbery attempt, but he did assault the customer causing non-life threatening injuries. The male left the business on foot.
Saskatoon Police Service K9 members attempted a track but were unsuccessful in locating the male. The customer was transported to hospital for treatment.
The male was described as approximately 6 feet tall, slender build, dark complexion and in his late teens to early 20’s. He was wearing a brown work style jacket.
