Police are continuing their investigation into to separate but related stabbing that took place Monday evening in the 300 block of Ave R South.
At 7:40 PM the Saskatoon Police Service received a call of a stabbing near Ave R and 20th Street. A 31 year old male was transported to Royal University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries . Moments after receiving the first report, Police became aware of a second male victim who had walked into St. Paul's hospital with non life-threatening stab wounds. Further investigation revealed that the second victim had also been stabbed in the 300 block of Ave R south. The suspect description in both cases was identical.
Detectives from the Targeted Enforcement Unit are actively looking for a male suspect that police have been able to identify, however no arrests have been made at this point. The suspect was known to the second victim, however it is not clear whether the suspect and first victim knew each other.
