Saskatoon Police arrested two men after recovering a stolen vehicle Tuesday morning.
At approximately 8:00 a.m., July 4, 2017, Officers observed a car parked in the 100 block of 109th Street West, that had been reported stolen. Three people entered the vehicle and the Officers conducted a high-risk traffic stop. All three people exited the vehicle and were arrested without incident. The car was confirmed to have been stolen three days earlier, when the keys were left under the floor mat. Officers also recovered a set of brass knuckles and a small amount of methamphetamine.
A 32 year old male was charged with Possession of Stolen Property under $5000, Breach of Probation and Breach of Undertaking. He also had numerous warrants for his arrest at the time.
A 20 year old male was charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Carry a Concealed Weapon, Possession of Methamphetamine and Breach of Undertaking.
The third person was released without charges.
