A suspect in a break and enter was arrested Wednesday night by members of the SPS Patrol, with assistance from the Air Support Unit.
At approximately 11:30 p.m., July 5, 2017, Police responded to a report of a break and enter in progress in the 400 block of Avenue P south. A suspect had cut a hole in the fence of the industrial compound. Upon Police arrival, ground units entered the compound and began searching for the suspect.
The ASU quickly located the suspect with their infrared technology, and guided ground units to the suspect. Officers arrested a 33 year old male without incident. He was charged with Break and Enter and Possession of Break-in Instruments.
