Public Service Advisory - Obey The Law On Saskatoon Riverbanks

The Saskatoon Police Service would like to remind the public to abide by the law when enjoying our riverbanks.

The SPS received numerous complaints over the weekend regarding public intoxication, open liquor and littering on beaches and sandbars. Officers have a zero-tolerance policy when dealing with these situations, which are unacceptable and will lead to people being ticketed accordingly.

The SPS wants everyone to enjoy our river and beaches, but would like to remind the public that liquor is prohibited in these areas and to please dispose of your trash appropriately.
