Two youth have been warned for Mischief following an investigation into a portable washroom that was tipped over while occupied at the Canada Day celebrations at Diefenbaker Park.
Shortly after the incident, three youth were identified as having been involved. Two of the youth admitted to having been responsible but were unaware the portable washroom was occupied at the time. They have both been warned for Mischief and will write letters of apology to the victim.
The Saskatoon Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible for tipping over a portable washroom at Diefenbaker Park while it was occupied in the late evening hours of July 1st, 2017. At approximately 11:30 P.M, a 57 year old female was using the washroom and became trapped as it was tipped onto its door. Several good Samaritans were able to free the woman from the washroom and offer assistance. She has since required medical care as a result of the incident.
