On September 1, 2017 just before 1 a.m. a stolen vehicle from out of town was located in the 2300 block of St. George Ave. by patrol members. When Police activated their emergency equipment the stolen vehicle began to evade the police. The SPS Air Support Unit was up flying and took over as primary viewing the stolen auto while ground units backed off from this stolen auto.
The stolen vehicle made its way to Circle Drive and 33rd Street west where ground units had set up tire deflation equipment causing the stolen auto to come to a stop near Ave W and 29th Street west.
