Members of the Saskatoon Police Service are conducting interviews with potential witnesses following a shooting in the 2200 block of St. Charles Avenue yesterday.
The victim, a 15 year old male, remains in hospital for treatment for a non- life threatening injury.
At this time investigators are pursuing various leads including the collection of surveillance video from the area.
The SPS hopes to issue a further update in regard to this investigation later today.
Shortly after 3 p.m., August 31, 2017, Police responded to a report of a person injured in the 2200 block of St. Charles Avenue. The person, a male, was suffering from a gunshot wound. He has been transported to hospital in an unknown condition.
There is a visible police presence in the area as Police investigate. The public is asked to avoid the area.
