Saskatoon Police Collision Analysts have concluded gathering their evidence at the intersection of Clarence Ave and 8th Street. Clarence Ave has re-opened and traffic is flowing normally.
A 23 year old male was struck by a northbound vehicle sustaining life-threatening injuries as a result of being struck. He was transported to hospital by EMS in serious condition.
Saskatoon Police want to thank motorists for their patience with the road closures during the investigation.
Further to the previous release of the car vs pedestrian at Clarence Ave and 8th Street, the north and southbound traffic lanes of Clarence Ave between 8th street and 9th street will be closed until the Collision Analyst Unit completes their investigation.
East and westbound traffic will still be able to flow normally on 8th Street. Motorists are requested to locate other roadways during this investigation.
