The Saskatoon Police Service is continuing to investigate a collision that occurred earlier this afternoon.
Shortly after 2:00 p.m., September 8, 2017, Police responded to a collision involving a gravel truck and a scooter. The 55-year-old woman on the scooter has passed away from her injuries. Her identity is not being released.
The Collision Analyst Unit remains on scene and traffic restrictions are expected to be in place for several hours.
A media release will be sent when traffic restrictions have been lifted.
The Saskatoon Police is on the scene of a motor vehicle collision involving a gravel truck and scooter near the intersection of Avenue F South and 20th Street West.
The person who was in operation of the scooter has been transported to the hospital. The seriousness of their injuries is unknown at this time.
People are asked to avoid this area as the police investigate this collision.
