Four Men Charged With Possession For The Purpose Of Trafficking Methamphetamine And Cocaine

Four men are facing charges following an investigation by the Saskatoon Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team (SIDEST).

On September 7, 2017, members of SIDEST conducted two vehicle stops in the 1600 block of 33rd Street West after observing activity consistent with drug trafficking. Four men were arrested.

Police seized a total of 317.2 grams of cocaine, 61.1 grams of methamphetamine, 13.5 grams of marihuana and 6 cell phones. A pellet gun and knife were also located on a 36-year-old man.

All four men, ranging in age from 29 to 46, are facing charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000 and Possession of Marihuana. (Court Info #’s 991025010, 991025008)

The 36-year-old man is facing additional charges of; Trafficking Methamphetamine and Possession of a Dangerous Weapon (x2). (Court Info # 991025011)

The 37-year-old man is facing an additional charge of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine. (Court Info # 991025009)

SIDEST is an integrated unit made up of members of the Saskatoon Police Service and RCMP ‘F’ Division.
