This Sunday will mark the 14th year that Saskatchewan police and peace officers will gather to remember the lives lost in the line of duty.
The Police and Peace Officer Memorial will take place in Regina with a parade and wreath laying ceremony.
The event began nationally in 1998 when the Government of Canada officially proclaimed the day to express appreciation for the dedication of police and peace officers who make the ultimate sacrifice in their efforts to keep communities safe.
