The Saskatoon Police Service remains on scene assisting with traffic restrictions.
Police are urging drivers to avoid the area of College Drive and Circle Drive. College Drive is currently closed between Circle Drive and Central Avenue after a semi hauling ammonia gas rolled onto it's side at approximately 8:30 a.m., October 12, 2017. At this time, it is unknown how long the cleanup will take. Traffic is continuing to be diverted to Preston Avenue and Central Avenue. Drivers can expect significant delays.
Police and emergency crews are on the way to Circle Drive and College Drive where a semi - truck has flipped. The truck is reported to be carrying compressed gas. Motorists are requested to avoid the area and/or be prepared for delays. Traffic will be shut down completely eastbound on College from Circle. Traffic traveling south on Circle will not be permitted to exit at College. An update will be issued once more information is known.
Traffic restrictions will be in place while crews work to off-load ammonia gas from a semi-truck that has rolled on its side. All traffic has been shut down on College Drive between Circle Drive and Central Ave. Traffic traveling east on College is being diverted south on Preston. Traffic traveling west on College is being diverted north on Central. Motorists can expect delays and restrictions for 3-4 hours.
No injures have been reported.
