3 Evade Police Incidents - All Aborted By Police

The Saskatoon Police Service was involved in 3 different Evade Police Incidents over night. Each one was aborted by the officers involved as a result of the driving actions of the suspects.

October 27, 2017 at 8:21 p.m. at 20 St and Av P. An officer observed a vehicle with a stolen license plate. The officer followed the vehicle southbound on Av P to 11 St while waiting for other officers to assist. The suspect went eastbound on 11 St and fled once police activated their emergency equipment. The suspect turned northbound on Av H. Police aborted the evade police incident due to the risk posed to the public as a result of the way the suspect was driving. 2017-113825

October 28, 2017 at 1:11 a.m. at 22 St and Dalmeny Ro, a vehicle disobeyed a red light in front of a marked patrol car. The officer tried to stop the vehicle. The driver fled westbound on 22 St at a high rate of speed leaving the city. The officer discontinued the evade police incident. 2017-113892

October 28, 2017 at 2:03 a.m. at Lorne Av and Melville St police observed a suspicious vehicle. When they attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver fled northbound on Lorne Av. The vehicle went westbound on Ruth St at a high rate of speed. Officers aborted the evade police incident due to the risk posed to the public as a result of the driving action of the suspect. 2017-113913
