Two men and a woman, all from Saskatoon, are facing numerous charges following an investigation conducted by the Saskatchewan Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team (SIDEST).
On November 1, 2017 at approximately 8:00 p.m., members of SIDEST conducted a traffic stop near Koyl Avenue and 45th Street. A 21 year old man was arrested without incident for trafficking a controlled substance. During the arrest, officers found baggies of cocaine, a cell phone and cash. Shortly after that arrest, SIDEST members arrested a 24 year old man, without incident, in a bar in the 100 block of 33rd Street West. A search warrant was then executed at a home in the 500 block of Fast Way. Inside officers located hash, marihuana, methamphetamine, and thousands of dollars in cash. A 22 year old woman at the location was taken into custody.
In total investigators seized $6225 in cash, 1.44 grams of cocaine, 3.1 grams of Marihuana, 184.7 grams of hash and a vehicle.
The men, ages 24 and 21 and the woman age 22 are facing charges including; trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of the proceeds of crime, and possession of marihuana.
All three are expected to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court today.
