The Saskatoon Police Service would like to remind motorists to use extra caution while driving tonight and tomorrow morning.
There have been three minor collisions in the last 45 minutes across Saskatoon. A combination of snow and freezing rain throughout the day has resulted in many slippery and snow-packed streets. Visibility is also limited in our city. Drivers are advised to reduce speeds, leave extra space in between their vehicle and the next, and give themselves extra time to get to their destination. Environment Canada expects the snow to fall throughout the night and into tomorrow. If travel is not crucial, we would advise you to stay at your current location.
