Saskatoon Police made multiple arrests following traffic stops yesterday and this morning.
At approximately 6:00 a.m., November 21, 2017, Saskatoon Police observed a green, Chevrolet Malibu in the 100 block of Avenue V South known to have been stolen. Officers conducted a high-risk traffic stop and arrested two people without incident.
The 28 year old Saskatoon woman was charged with Possession of Stolen Property under $5000.
The 37 year old Saskatoon man was arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged with Possession of Stolen Property under $5000.
At approximately 12:10 a.m., November 22, 2017, officers observed a suspicious vehicle, a red, Daewoo Lanos, parked at a convenience store in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue North. Officers found that the registered owner of the vehicle had warrants for her arrest. When speaking with her, she supplied Police with a false name. She was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine. She was arrested without incident.
A 31 year old male from Domremy, Saskatchewan, who was found to be the driver of the vehicle, was released after being issued a ticket for Driving while Disqualified.
The 34 year old female, also from Domremy, was charged with Breach of Conditions (x3), Obstruction a Peace Officer and Possession of methamphetamine.
