Saskatoon Police are investigating after a woman was found assaulted and confined earlier this morning in a residence in the 300 block of 26th Street West.
On December 1, 2017, at approximately 7:30 a.m., Police attended to a residence in the 300 block of 26th Street West after receiving a report of a female being unlawfully confined in the basement. Officers entered the residence and located a 24 year female who had been assaulted. She was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Five people have been arrested and charges are pending.
The investigation is continuing and further information will be released as it is available.
