Traffic Advisory - Holiday Train To Stop In Saskatoon

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will be stopping in Saskatoon on Monday, December 4th, 2017.

In previous years this event has drawn large crowds and has caused traffic concerns. In order to keep members of the public who are attending the event safe, road closures and parking restrictions will be in effect:

  • As of 7:00 PM, 33rd Street will be closed between 6th Avenue and 10th Avenue
  • 7th Avenue will be closed between Empress Street and Duchess Street.
  • Warburton Street between 7th Avenue & 10th Avenue
  • Side streets and alleys that connect to those roadways will also be closed.

Temporary no parking signs will be in place in residential areas around the venue

Members of the public wishing to attend this event will have to park outside of the immediate area.

Motorists are asked to obey signage in order to ensure the safety of those in attendance.

The Saskatoon Police Service will have officers working in the area.
