UPDATE - Weapon Complaint - 1300 Blk Temperance Street

On December 10, 2017 at approximately 3:30 pm, Patrol members with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit and Crisis Negotiating Team, took two adult males and an adult female into custody following a complaint involving a firearm at an apartment in the 1300 blk of Temperance Street. The investigation is continuing with regard to firearms offences as well as offences under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Restrictions on travel in the area have been lifted as the public safety concern no longer exists. The Saskatoon Police Service would like to thank the public for their cooperation during this investigation.

Saskatoon Police are currently on scene at a weapon complaint in an apartment, in the 1300 blk of Temperance Street. Vehicular and foot traffic is currently restricted for eastbound travel on Temperance Street from Wiggins Avenue, and westbound travel on Temperance Street from Ewart Avenue. Travel in the north alley of Temperance Street from either Avenue is similarly restricted.

Citizens are asked to avoid the area if possible. Further updates will be provided as they become available.
