A Saskatoon man is facing a number of drug related charges following a vehicle stop last night.
At approximately 10:00 p.m., February 26, 2018, Patrol Officers conducted a vehicle stop on a white Buick LeSabre at the intersection of Idylwyld Drive North and Stanley Place. The driver was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, a scale, small baggies and cash. Inside the vehicle, officers located numerous cell phones, liquor, various types of prescription medication pills, scales, small baggies, a baton and a folding knife. The passenger, a 37 year old woman, along with the 33 year old male driver were arrested without incident.
A 33 year old man is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (x2), Driving While Disqualified and Breach of Undertaking. The woman was later released.
