Two men are facing numerous firearm-related charges after a report of a break and enter into a residence yesterday.
At approximately 2:30 p.m., February 27, 2018, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Avenue X South for a report of a break and enter. Upon arrival, Police observed two men inside the residence. They refused to comply with the officer’s commands to exit, and instead began barricading themselves inside. Officers forced entry into the residence and arrested the two males without incident. Two loaded firearms were seized from inside. Police also located shell casings, drug paraphernalia, a small amount of cocaine and two knives. The homeowner was not home at the time and there were no injuries.
Two men, ages 22 and 24, are facing 30 firearm-related charges as well as charges for breaching conditions, break and enter and outstanding warrants.
