Armed Robbery - 1600 Block Of 22nd Street West

Vehicle and pedestrian traffic is now free to resume travel in the alley. Investigative restrictions have been lifted.

The Saskatoon Police wishes to thank the public for their patience and cooperation during this time.

On March 1, 2018, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Saskatoon Police responded to a call of an armed robbery which had occurred in the 1600 block of 22nd Street West. Upon arrival, police located a male suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso who was in stable condition.  The victim was transported to Royal University Hospital for treatment. The investigation into the matter is continuing.

Currently, restrictions are in place for travel in the south alley of 22nd Street West from Avenue P to Avenue Q, and the west alley of Avenue P South, from 22nd Street to 21st Street. Motorists and pedestrians are asked to avoid that area.
