Members of the SPS Targeted Enforcement Section are now investigating this incident. The 46 year old victim has been released from hospital after treatment for his injuries. It is believed a pellet gun was used in the shooting.
Saskatoon Police are investigating an incident in which a man was injured early this morning in the 1000 block of Idylwyld Drive North.
At approximately 5:00 a.m., April 5, 2018, Police were called to the area by a passerby who reported that someone may have been shot. Officers located an injured male outside a residence. The 46 year old was suffering from what appeared to be a non life-threatening wound and transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services. At this time few details are available and officers are trying to determine where the incident took place. The Guns and Gangs Unit is assisting with the investigation.
