A 28 year old Saskatoon man is in custody facing charges of break and enter after he was apprehended breaking into a utility trailer in the northwest part of the city.
Police were called just before 2:45 AM Tuesday morning after a construction worker was awaken by noise. The construction worker was asleep in a van that was attached to the trailer. The worker had decided to sleep in his van due to the numerous problems with thefts in the area. Upon hearing noises the worker called police. Moments later the suspect entered the trailer. Police, along with a K9 unit arrived and the suspect was arrested without further incident. There were no injuries.
The suspect will be appearing in court later today.
