A 16 year old male is in custody and is scheduled to appear in youth court tomorrow morning following an incident in which threats were made to do harm at a high school.
The 16 year old has been charged with Uttering Threats, Carrying a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Pointing a Firearm, and Mischief.
A 16 year old Saskatoon male is facing charges following an incident in which threats were made to do harm at a city high school this morning.
Police were called to the high school in the 100 block of Bowlt Crescent at approximately 9:30 a.m. Students at the school had seen the threats on social media and alerted school staff who notified Police. Officers located the male suspect in a park west of the school and took him into custody. A back pack was located nearby, containing an airsoft gun.
No one was injured during the incident.
