Suspicious Persons/Weapon - 4th Ave. N & 26th St. E

Police arrested a suspicious male after receiving a complaint that two men were seen checking vehicles.

At approximately 9:00 p.m., June 4, 2018, members of the Bike Unit were dispatched to the area of 4th Avenue North and 26th Street East for a report of suspicious people. Officers located two men matching the suspect descriptions. They were observed jay-walking a block from the initial dispatched address. Police stopped the 22 year old and 27 year old males and found that the 27 year old suspect was attempting to impersonate someone else, and was subsequently arrested for Impersonation. He was found to be in possession of a stolen wallet, a homemade knife and Crystal Meth.

The 27 year old Saskatoon man is charged with Impersonation, Possession of Stolen Property under $5000, Possession of Methamphetamine and Breach of Undertaking. He also had two outstanding warrants and was issued a traffic ticket.
