Two Saskatoon men are facing charges following a police response to street racing in the city's north industrial area.
Member of the Air Support Unit spotted the activity from overhead last weekend and alerted patrol units on the ground to the location of two of the three vehicles involved.
Drivers from both vehicles were witnessed travelling 113 km/hr in a 50 km/hr zone. They are charged with racing and disobey a stop sign. Their vehicles were both impounded for 30 days. One of the drivers was also charged with driving while disqualified.
The SPS reminds drivers that speed limits are in place for everyone's safety.
