A Saskatoon man and woman are facing a number of charges after being found in possession of drugs and weapons Sunday morning.
At approximately 9:30 a.m., July 1, 2018, a Patrol officer observed a suspicious vehicle parked at a high school in the 100 block of Nelson Road. Two people were located inside of the vehicle. Police confirmed the driver of the vehicle had an outstanding warrant. The passenger of the vehicle provided Police a false identity. Upon taking the two into custody, officers located a .22 calibre imitation firearm with ammunition and a machete in a backpack. A knife, crystal methamphetamine, crack cocaine and a pipe was also located inside of the vehicle.
A 23 year old woman is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Cocaine and Breach of Undertaking.
A 32 year old man is charged with Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public (x3), Carrying a Concealed Weapon (x2), Impersonation and Breach of Undertaking.
