Two people riding a motorcycle were sent to hospital following a collision this morning.
Saskatoon Police responded to the collision at 10:35 a.m., July 31, 2018 in the intersection of 22nd Street West and Diefenbaker Drive. Officers discovered that a motorcycle had been struck by a pick-up truck turning left off of Diefenbaker Drive. The motorcycle, which was carrying a 38 year old man and 32 year old woman, was traveling eastbound on 22nd Street West. Medavie Health Services transported both the operator and the passenger of the motorcycle to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the truck, a 67 year old woman, was issued a ticket for failing to yield on a left-hand turn. She was not injured in the collision.
