The Saskatoon Police are urging drivers to use extra caution while on the roads today, January 30, in and around Saskatoon. Environment Canada has issued a wind warning with wind gusts expected to reach 90km/hr this morning. Freezing rain and flurries are causing very slick road conditions. Reduced visibility is expected with potentially blizzard-like conditions.
Fortunately, Police have only been dispatched to two minor collision this morning. The SPS would encourage motorists to continue to use caution, reduce speeds when necessary and leave extra space between you and the vehicle ahead of you. Also, please remember to turn on your headlights.
