Traffic restrictions have been lifted at the scene of a multi-vehicle collision that occurred earlier this morning.
Initial investigation shows that a truck rear-ended a vehicle resulting in a chain reaction. In total, six vehicles were involved.
Three people, two men and a woman, were transported to hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The driver of the truck, a 20-year-old man, was not injured.
The investigation is continuing.
Saskatoon Police are on the scene of a multi-vehicle collision on Idylwyld Drive North.
On August 10, 2018, at approximately 10:45 a.m., Police received a report of a multi-vehicle collision in the northbound lane of Idylwyld Drive near the Avenue C overpass.
It is not yet known how many vehicles are involved but several people have been transported to hospital with undetermined injuries.
Northbound traffic on Idylwyld Drive is being diverted onto 51st Street. Motorists are asked to avoid the area as the investigation continues. Traffic restrictions are expected to be in place for a couple hours.
