Arrest - Search Warrant Executed - 300 Block 5th Avenue North

As a result of an ongoing investigation by an outside agency, the Saskatoon Police Guns & Gangs and Tactical Support Units assisted in executing a search warrant at an apartment in the 300 block of 5th Avenue North yesterday morning, October 4, 2018. One man was taken into custody.

As a result of the search warrant, Police seized;

  • Two handguns, one with ammunition
  • 70.61g of cocaine
  • 48.98g of crack cocaine
  • 306.37g of heroin
  • 275.4g of fentanyl
  • 366.4g of crystal meth
  • Nearly $7,500 cash

The 25-year-old man from Surrey, British Columbia, is facing the following charges;

  • Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Heroin
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Meth
  • Possession of a Firearm not being a holder of a license (x2)
  • Possession of a Firearm knowing he does not the holder of a license (x2)
  • Careless Storage of a Firearm (x2)
  • Possession of Weapon Dangerous to Public (x2)
  • Possession of a loaded restricted firearm
  • Possession of an unloaded restricted firearm together with readily accessible ammunition
  • Possession of a firearm knowing that the serial number on it has been altered, defaced or removed
