Armed Robbery - 1400 Block 22nd St. W

Saskatoon Police are searching for two suspects following an armed robbery yesterday morning.

At approximately 6:40 a.m., November 27, 2018, Patrol officers were dispatched to a hotel in the 1400 block of 22nd Street West for an unknown problem. Upon arrival, Police located a male staff member who was visibly shaken and had locked himself in a room. He reported to Police that when he entered a common room, he observed two men armed with a knife and a BB gun, and that they directed the victim to sit down on a chair where they taped him to it. The victim complied and the suspects stole his wallet, car keys, work keys and his glasses. They also stole a computer from the front desk before fleeing in the victim’s blue 2008 Nissan Altima. The 23 year old male victim was not physically injured.

Suspect #1 is described as being approximately 6’ tall, wearing a beige or black jacket with fur on the hood. Suspect #2 is described as being approximately 5’ 7” tall, wearing an oversized black jacket. Both of the male suspects were wearing black balaclavas over their faces.
