Traffic restrictions have been lifted in the areas affected by train vs pedestrian collision.
Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Collision Analyst Unit and Forensic Identification Unit continue to investigate the fatal collision with further details to be released when they are available.
Traffic at all intersections previously affected is now flowing normally.
The Saskatoon Police Service is currently on the scene of a train vs pedestrian collision that occurred at approximately 5:21 p.m at 20 St and Av I.
The train is currently stopped across 20 St.
The motoring public is asked to avoid the area until the investigation is completed.
Several train crossing arms at intersections in the area have automatically been activated. CP Police is working on having these raised as soon as possible.
