Motor Vehicle Collision With Injuries

The traffic flow restrictions at 23rd Street & Avenue R have now been lifted.  This investigation will be ongoing and no charges have been laid. 

The Saskatoon Police Service responded to a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles, one of which was parked, and a pedestrian at 23rd Street & Avenue R at approximately 6:40PM, April 6, 2019.

The pedestrian, a 45 year old man was transported by Medavie Health Services West to Royal University Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle, a 45 year old female was transported to St. Paul’s Hospital with minor injuries.

Traffic flow is restricted in the area while the Collision Analyst Unit investigates and motorists are asked to find alternate routes until further notice.
