CFSEU Investigation Into Cocaine Trafficking Results In Arrest

A 28-year-old woman is facing drug trafficking charges following an investigation by Saskatoon’s Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU).

On April 11, 2019, just after midnight, a 28-year-old female was arrested at Highway 7/22nd Street. Following the arrest, a series of search warrants were executed at a residence in the 1200 block of Beechmont View, a business in the 400 block of Packham Place, a hotel room in the 2000 block of Airport Drive, and a vehicle that was occupied by the accused. Seizures included 4 kilograms of cocaine, $11,500 cash, a stolen 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, a stolen 2013 Audi S4 and an expandable baton.

CFSEU received assistance in their investigation from the SPS Guns and Gangs Unit, SPS Special Investigations Unit, SPS Stolen Auto Unit, SPS Technological Crimes Unit, SPS Patrol and the RCMP Saskatoon Detachment.

The 28-year-old Saskatoon woman is charged with; Trafficking Cocaine, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000, Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000 and Possession of a Dangerous Weapon. (Court Info #'s 991087094, 991087089).

CFSEU is funded by the Government of Saskatchewan through the Ministry of Justice, Corrections and Policing. CFSEU is an investigative body comprised of personnel from partner police agencies from the Regina Police Service, the RCMP, the Prince Albert Police Service and the Saskatoon Police Service. The mandate of CFSEU is to expose, investigate, disrupt, dismantle and prosecute organized crime enterprises.
