Saskatoon Police have responded to 18 collisions since 6:00 a.m. today. There were no serious injuries reported as a result.
The latest collision, which Police are currently at the scene of, involved a school bus that was rear-ended at Fairlight Crescent and 22nd Street West. An unknown number of children were on the bus, but no one is believed to have sustained any injuries at this time.
As the evening commute approaches, Police wish to advise motorists that winter driving conditions exist. Drivers should slow down, be patient and leave themselves time to get to their destination, and leave space between them and the motorist ahead.
The earlier reported collisions on Circle Drive North have been cleared up.
There have been four more collisions reported:
- Circle Drive and College Drive
- Circle Drive and Valley Road
- Circle Drive and Ruth Street
- 60th Street East and Millar Avenue
- Wiggins Avenue and 14th Street
The injuries in all collisions thus far are believed to be minor.
Motorists are advised to slow down and leave space between the motorist ahead of them.
