Saskatoon Police have charged a 30 year old Saskatoon man with driving in excess of 100 km/hr in a 50 km/hr speed zone.
At approx. 7:47 p.m. today, a patrol officer clocked a vehicle at a speed of 104 km/hr in a 50 km/hr speed zone on the Broadway Bridge coming into the downtown. The driver was issued a $843.00 ticket and his vehicle has been impounded for 7 days.
This is the second high speed violation within 2 1/2 hours this evening.
Police would like to remind motorists to obey the traffic laws and arrive at their destination safely.

Saskatoon Police have charged a 28 year old Saskatoon man with driving in excess of 120 km/hr in a 60 km/hr speed zone.
At approx. 5:20 p.m. today, a patrol officer clocked a motorcycle at a speed of 125 km/hr in a 60 km/hr speed zone on 8 St E near Briargate Ro. The driver was issued a $966.00 ticket, his vehicle has been impounded for 7 days, his driver's license was suspended for 3 days and a full mechanical inspection was ordered on his motorcycle.
