The Saskatoon Police Service and the Saskatoon Fire Department are continuing to investigate the cause of a house fire earlier this morning.
Officers were called to a fire at a residence in the 500 block of Albert Avenue at approximately 2:30 a.m., August 7, 2020. The remains of a 25-year-old were discovered in the home. Next of kin has been notified and his name will not be released at this time.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Traffic restrictions are in place and pedestrian and vehicle traffic are being asked to avoid this area.
