Fraud Case Sentencing

A 55 year old Saskatoon woman has pleaded guilty to defrauding two local organizations following an investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service Fraud Section.
Elizabeth Susan Cousins was charged with three counts of fraud exceeding $5000. Police were called when organizers with the Saskatoon Baseball Council and a west side community association noticed irregularities in their banking records.
Ms. Cousins was sentenced in Provincial Court to a conditional sentence of 2 years less a day, and ordered to pay restitution.
