Barricaded Person

The Saskatoon Police Service Emergency Response Team, Patrol members and Crisis Negotiators are at a Saskatoon home where a male has barricaded himself.
The incident began before 9:00 this morning when a Police Officer was conducting a check on a 30 year old male with release conditions. The officer attended to an address in the 300 block of Avenue K South to speak to the male when he fled on foot. He fled to an address in the 400 block of Avenue J South where he refused to come out.
The Emergency Response Team was called when it was found that police had been to a previous call involving a firearm at that address.
Over the noon hour Crisis Negotiators were able to contact someone inside the home and, as a result of discussions with them, four people left the home voluntarily and uninjured. It it believed the 30 year old male remains inside.
