Additional Grow Operations Busted

Two more grow operations were busted in Saskatoon last night by members of the Saskatoon Integrated Drug Unit.
The grows were found at homes in the 700 block of Preston Avenue and the 400 block of Mallin Crescent. Officers seized more than 1500 plants bringing the total number of plants seized in the last week to more than 2600.
That number represents a supply of 1/8 of an ounce to more than 105,000 people.
On June 14th officers busted grow operations on Massey Drive and at a home north of Martensville as part of the same investigation.
Two males already in custody following the busts on June 14th are now facing additional charges of production of marijuana, possession for the purpose of trafficking and theft of electricity.
Footage of the grow operation from inside one of the homes is available to the media in DVD format.
