Saskatoon Police are advising residents of apartment buildings to take steps to make sure their patio doors are secure.
Over the last three months Investigators have seen a number of break ins to apartments all over the city. The break ins are occurring to 2nd and 3rd floor apartments through, in many cases, patio doors which are left open or unlocked. Police believe thieves are taking advantage of the fact that they can gain easy entry into the apartments when no one is home.
Residents are reminded to take the measures necessary to make sure their doors are as secure as possible.
