TAGS - The Anti Graffiti Symposium

The Saskatoon Police Service is playing host this week to TAGS, the third annual Anti Graffiti Symposium.

Delegates from law and bylaw enforcement, community groups, youth advocates and many other fields will be attending from around the country. Two days of presentations, September 13th and 14th, are aimed at sharing information about graffiti. The event is co sponsored by CN and CP Rail Police and will be held at the Delta Bessborough Hotel.

Sept. 13

8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Intro to Graffiti, Det. Cst. Lee Jones, Saskatoon Police Service.

9:30 - 10:00 a.m. Graffiti Transformation Project, Will Grant and Miranda Hagel, John Howard Society.

2:00 - 2:30 p.m. Bylaw, Fire Marshal Patti Hoffinger, Saskatoon Fire and Protective Services

3:00 - 4:30 p.m. Child Psychology, Dr. Theresa Zolner

Sept. 14

8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Saskatoon Community Arts Program - Darrell Lechman

1:00 - 2:30 p.m. Acid Etch and Removal, Martin Giles (Sweden)

2:30 - 3:00 p.m. "Painted Problems", Ann Cooney and Theresa Grosse, children's authors
