The Saskatoon Police Service is investigating a series of cash register robberies that have occurred on at least six occasions since September 8, and appear to be related.
Businesses in both central and east areas of the City have reported that a male suspect entered the premises and either stole money from an unattended cash register or reached in an grabbed money from the register once the clerk had opened it. The male suspect is described as late 20's to mid 40's in age, 5'10" - 6'2" tall, with dark hair. He was wearing a dark jacket, dark pants, a blue ball cap, and may have been wearing white running shoes.
None of the incidents have involved a weapon, and no one has been injured.
Business owners and employees are asked to keep these types of robberies in mind and use extra precautions.
