Robberies - Financial Institutions

Saskatoon Police are looking for a male suspect following robberies at two financial institutions this afternoon.

Police received a call just after 12:00 p.m. that a lone male had entered a financial institution in the 400 block of Circle Drive East. He passed the teller a note demanding money. The male then escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Then, just before 2:00 p.m., a call came into Police reporting another robbery of a financial institution. This time in the 2300 block of Primrose Drive. The suspect had passed the teller a note demanding money and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The two incidents are believed to be connected.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5'5" tall, with a slim build.
